Performance data

The idea for this webpage is to share information about run times and memory consumption for various simulations, to help in making assessments as to what system size can feasibly be computed.

Entries below should contain:

  1. the system geometry
  2. the total number of nodes (points) in the mesh and surface nodes (boundary points) (this can be obtained using the ``nmeshpp -i `` command)
  3. the amount of time that has been simulated (i.e. 2ns or such), or how many points in a hysteresis loop have been computed
  4. the amount of RAM that as required (and whether the Hlib has been used)
  5. the amount of time it took to run the simulation (i.e. hours, days, weeks)
  6. the hardware: some info on CPU and clockrate if available
#.serial or parallel, if parallel: what hardware? MPI on multi-core, multi-CPU or multi-nodes?

Ideally, the entries should include

  1. a reference to a publication (this can be added later when it becomes available)
  2. the nmag simulation file (maybe for one of the simulations run for this work)
  3. if possible a file to create the mesh if possible (for example a geo file for Netgen)
